Area: 123 sq. m. Client: Confidential Sector: Residential
Location: Limehouse, London, UK Thinking about something similar? Merging two stacked apartments into a penthouse in London Docklands We combined and refurbished two flats in a 1980s’ waterside development into a comfortable four-bedroom penthouse. The brief provided for a contemporary minimalistic design with areas of exposed brickwork and treated timber. Revealing and highlighting the existing characteristics of the actual space – large floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall windows; double-aspect rooms and views from the upper level – we improved the zoning, opened the kitchen into the spacious living area at the lower level and relocated master bedroom to the upper floor. Key features of the apartment are the new stairs with integrated storage and the bespoke fireplace with ethanol burner featuring an AV system built into its surround.
